JSA’s biggest Spring event is here! Come join us in our annual Mochi Pounding event where you get to meet our new members and get to partake in the fun mochi pounding event.
What is mochi pounding (mochi tsuki – 餅つき)?
- Mochitsuki is the process of making the rice cake (known as mochi in Japanese) by pounding special rice. This delicacy takes time to prepare and requires many people to create. This is eaten during New Years celebrations and is a great way to spend time with friends and family.
Come join us at Krach Leadership Center on January 31 from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM! This event is free to JSA members and $3 to non-members.
